Wow, this is by far the best venue in the Lufkin, Nacogdoches area. I have been in the entertainment business for years and this venue goes above and beyond what I would ever expect or want. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very well versed in event planning and venue management. This is truly a one stop shop for what you will need: Catering, BBQ, DJ Services with superb sound equipment, tables and chairs on location, climate controlled facilities, outdoor and indoors, and the most beautiful furnishings for a groom and bridal suite. We had the Angelina County Go Texan Scholarship Fundraiser at Shelton’s Place last night and they were amazing! They were so helpful and were the nicest and polite people you will ever meet. My experience at the Shelton’s place was perfect. There are many options to choose from. We rented the building for October 12, 2014. We knew they were still under going some construction. We added the bridal suite, the outside pews and stage, the sweetheart table, the coffee bar and had The Shelton Place cater the amazing food. We were blessed with almost 400 guest, and there was about 165 vehicles parked for the wedding. We have had nothing but complements on our daughter’s wedding. We would not change one thing about their best day ever…Check out the Wisener/Wilson wedding … thank you for all the personal touches:)))

5 stars doesn’t do this venue or the wonderful people who own it justice. We had our wedding and reception at Shelton’s Place and it was better than I could of ever imagined! This venue is absolutely breath taking just by itself but the people and the service you get that comes along with it is incredible. Tamesha and Daron did so much for us and never once complained! I can’t begin to express our gratitude for what all they did and just how big of a heart they have or the length they will go to be sure it’s perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!! You don’t just get a beautiful barn but you get spectacular service and meet the sweetest and most hard working family you’ll ever meet!! Thank you again!!
